International Power Reports on Incident at ISAB, Italy
(London – 14 October 2008) International Power reports that ISAB in Italy suffered an incident during the evening of 13 October when a fire broke out on one of the two units at the plant. No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. Due to the damage caused by the fire, both units are currently offline and are expected to remain so for the remainder of 2008.
International Power expects the impact on underlying EPS in 2008 to be some 0.8p to 1.0p.
