As a global power generation company we recognise our duty of care towards protecting the environment and society in which we live. To achieve this we use state-of-the-art, proven environmental technology at our new assets and seek to upgrade our older assets where possible. We have a broad portfolio of assets with a growing percentage of renewable generation.
We take our societal responsibilities very seriously, whether working to enhance the communities in which we operate or to ensure that our employees are well treated and have a safe working environment.
International Power has been a long standing participant in the Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility Index and is also listed in the Financial Times FTSE4Good index of companies demonstrating good standards of corporate responsibility.
